Synopsis

There are lots of runaways. It’s up to you on how or who you want to apply this song. It might be a child running from home, or a lover running from a relationship. It could be someone running from God. It could be someone turning to alcohol or drugs to escape a problem. The song acknowledges that someone is running and encourages that person to try to work it out instead of running.

The motivation for the song

I know the feeling of running  personally and have seen it in others. The song is my way of explaining that I understand the desperation and  hurt feelings and that things could be changed for the better. I wrote the song for people I love hoping they will reconsider what they are about to do.
